Bookmark - Olive branches

Bookmark with olive branches, inspired by a representation on a red-figure skyphos from an Attic workshop (450-400 BC). The olive tree became one of the pre-eminent symbols of the goddess Athena, recalling her victory over Poseidon for the rule of the city.
