Created by Eleni Kleidara. Bracelet with a silver replica of coin from the island of Aegina depicting a turtle on one side and on the other four hollow triangles, 6th c. B.C. Till the end of the Archaic period and before its submission to Athens, Aegina enjoyed exceptional economic prosperity; indeed, the island minted the earliest Greek coinage.
