3D Card - Ornament

Created by metoo. The motif on the ball is inspired by a traditional Greek Embroidery from Epirus dating from the 18th-19th century, which belongs to the Benaki Museum collections. Through a process that includes the removal of colours, the change of scale and the focusing on details that depict nature scenes and creatures both existing and imaginary, a post modern image emerges.
