Cross

The elegant cross-encolpium is decorated on the front with lapis lazuli, which repeats the shape of the cross with double horizontal bar. Engraved on the back are words of a dedicatory inscription mentioning its owner, Georgios Varangopoulos, who bore the title of Sevastos (August). 13th - 14th century.
