Cufflinks

The cufflinks reproduces gold earrings with inlaid jasper on the disc and hanging cornelian doves. The dove, companion of Aphrodite, was considered a symbol of love and devotion. From Apulia, Southern Italy. 2nd century B.C. Inv. No. 1577
