Decorative plate featuring a central replica of a gold wreath from the 3rd - 2nd century BC. Similar gold wreaths with olive, myrtle, laurel, or ivy leaves have been found mainly in royal tombs of Macedonia and constitute exquisite examples of the goldsmith’s art in Hellenistic times.
