Earrings with enamel and pearls

Earrings inspired by an original Persian pair (Qajar dynasty, 19th c.) that belonged to Vassiliki Kitsou Kontaxi, the Greek wife of Ali Pasha, known as 'Kyra Vassiliki'.

Created on the occasion of the Benaki Museum's anniversary exhibition 1821 Before and After.
