Mosaic - Virgin Mary

Mosaic handcrafted by Krystallia Kefallinou and inspired by an icon with the Virgin Mary (second half of the 16th c.). The Virgin inclines her head to the left, staring at the beholder. The original possibly belonged to a group of icons with the Deesis.
