The publication brings together thirteen studies by Giorgos Alisandratos that focus on Radicalism, the political movement that sowed the first social ideals in the Ionian Islands, but also served as a catalyst, influencing the Union of the Ionian Islands with Greece. The volume constitutes the payment of a debt to the scholar, who, infused with the spirit of scientific independence, carried out crucial studies of the people and event recording issues of the Ionian history, but also highlighted the broader political and ideological aspects of a movement whose purpose was not limited to a solely irredentist policy.
