The volume is a presentation of the life and work of the greek scholar Panagiotis Vergotis, through the panoramic and systematic view of the prominent philologist Giorgos Alissandratos. The publication collects published and unpublished articles of the latter on Vergotis’ life, writing activity and translation work (the latter centered on Dante's Inferno).
