Déshabillé

Déshabillé was published on the occasion of the exhibition under the same title of works by Maria Loizidou, organised by the Benaki Museum and the House of Cyprus at Mentis Passementerie from March 31 to June 29, 2017. It documents the contents of a wardrobe and tries to bring to the fore the ‘informality’ of garments, due to their everyday use, as well as the care lavished on their manufacture, similar to that extended on a work of art.
