Ring with an inscription

The gold signet ring bears on its flat circular bezel, an inscription engraved in reverse: “Of Eumorphopoulos”. The name of the ring’s owner is repeated in the cruciform monogram at the centre of the bezel. The ring probably belonged to a member of the well-know noble family of Mystras. 14th century.
