The decoration of this object is based on the decoration of an Early Cycladic clay «frying pan» from the island of Euboea dating from circa 2800-2700 BC. The «frying pans», for which both a practical function (astrolabes, mirrors etc.) and a ritual use have been suggested, remain enigmatic objects. Design adapted and executed by Kostas Dimopoulos.
