Kantharos

Replica of a black-figure kantharos made according to the original ancient technique. The original vessel is from an Attic workshop featuring an undulating pattern below the handles (late 5th century BC). This type of cup was commonly used in banquets for drinking. It varies widely in shape throughout the classical and Hellenistic periods.
