Key ring decorated with a silver replica of a coin from the island of Aegina depicting a turtle on the one side and four concave triangles on the other (6th century BC). The earliest Greek coinage was minted in Aegina, as the island enjoyed exceptional economic prosperity until the end of the archaic period, before its submission to Athens.
