Λάκης Παπαστάθης. Γενικό πλάνο (Lakis Papastathis. Long Shot)

The publication is the catalogue accompanying the exhibition entitled “Lakis Papastathis. In Search of the Lost Picture”, which was hosted at the Benaki Museum in the spring of 2025. Through the rich illustration, the director’s texts, and the numerous testimonies of friends, collaborators and intellectuals, the course of the great director is outlined, from the years of his studies and his first cinematic steps in the 1960s until his death in 2023. The publication enables the reader not only to follow the path of Lakis Papastathis in the field of cinema, television cultural documentaries and literature, but also to place his contribution within the great period of the “Metapolitefsis”.
