The publication includes the Proceedings of the Scientific Meeting organized by the Benaki Museum and the “Myrsini Zorba Laboratory of Modern Greek Studies” / Department of European, American and Intercultural Studies of the Sapienza University of Rome, dedicated to the work of the great modern Greek scholar (Benaki Museum, 138 Pireos Street, Saturday, February 17, 2024).

The Meeting was attended by scholars of modern Greek literature, university professors, and researchers from Greece and Italy, with the aim of highlighting the main aspects of Mario Vitti’s work and emphasizing his pivotal role in shaping our overall picture of the history of modern Greek literature.
