Μουσείο Μπενάκη 15-17, 2015-2017 (Mouseio Benaki 15-17, 2015-2017)

The new triple volume (vol. 15-17 – years: 2015-2017) includes four studies dedicated to the founder of the Museum, Antonis Benakis (Alexandria 1873 - Athens 1954), commemorating the 70th anniversary of his death. The publication also includes three studies on Nikos Hadjikyriakos-Ghikas, an essay on Yanoulis Chalepas, an article on architects Yannis Despotopoulos and Isaac Saporta, two studies on issues regarding conservation and restoration of paintings and, finally, the scientific, publishing and exhibition activities of the Museum’s scientific staff for the years 2015-2017. The volume is enriched by the contribution of Professor Emeritus of Prehistoric Archaeology Christos Doumas, which the author has dedicated to the memory of Angelos Delivorrias.
