Necklace with cruciform rosettes

Necklace with cruciform rosettes embellished with coloured enamel and garnets. Faithful replica of a 17th - 18th century gold chain from Georgia, from which hung a cross pendant set with precious stones. The technique of this piece of jewellery recalls gem studded works of the tsar's court fashioned by Greek goldsmiths.
