Pendant adapted from a Cycladic marble female figurine of the folded-arm type with traces of red colour on the neck and the head. The Cycladic marble figurines, the foremoste creation of Early Cycladic cultute, are usually female and seem to have been connected with the religious beliefs of the prehistoric Aegean. Early Spedos variety, Early Cycladic II period (2600 – 2500 BC).
