Figurine of a seated woman

Ιn the form of a miniature marble figurine of a seated woman with a hole for hanging in the back. It belongs to a category of anthropomorphic, apotropaic Neolithic jewellery which was probably considered to have supernatural powers capable of going against the laws of nature. Middle/ Late Neolithic Period (5800-4500 BC).
