56 silver and bronze coins, a medal of the 19th century as well as the introductory texts and analytical entries, introduce the reader to aspects of ancient Greek myths, highlight their impact on the memory of societies and their transformations through to modern times. The main stations of this fascinating journey are ancient territories in the Peloponnese, such as Patras, Sparta, Corinth, Tegea and others. The elaborated catalogue is complemented by rich illustrations and detailed bibliography.
