DEFINITION OF COOKIES

WHAT KIND OF COOKIES WE USE

We use cookies on our website www.benaki.gr, as well as on the Shop website www.benakishop.gr, which collect anonymous information about how users / visitors use our site, such as for example, which pages they visit most, the time they spend on the site, and whether they have encountered problems or received error messages from websites (performance cookies - statistics). These cookies allow us to understand how visitors interact with our site by providing the above information and collecting aggregated and anonymous information that does not identify the visitor. They are used exclusively to improve the performance of a website.
Specifically, there are four (4) cookies (_ga, _gat, _gid, & collect) for Google Analytics, a Google Inc. web analytics service, which enter a unique ID (auditing how the pseudonymisation or anonymization is handled by Google Tag Manager - GTM) for statistical purposes on how the site is used by the user and the user's behaviour, as well and user recognition through multiple devices. The above cookies are two (2) years for _ga cookie, one (1) day for _gat & _gid cookies and the duration of a visiting session for the collect cookie.
Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required by law, or when third parties process the information on Google's behalf. In addition, we use promotional cookies, that is, cookies that are used to provide content that best suits you and your interests. These cookies may be used to send targeted advertising, limit advertising or measure the effectiveness of a particular ad campaign.
