This volume, dedicated to Efstathios I. Finopoulos (1927–2018), includes twenty-three essays written by friends of the honoree as well as by expert scholars, which shed light on aspects of the life and work of this distinguished collector, examine the character and stages of the Collection’s long-term development, and highlight some of the significant works that comprise it. The Collection, in accordance with the collector’s wishes (June 2013), belongs to the Benaki Museum and forms part of the Foundation’s Library.
