Pendant with rams' heads

Pendant by Aliki Stroumpouli, reproducing a segment of a gold bracelet from the early Hellenistic period, featuring hammered ram heads at the ends of the wire. The representations of rams in jewellery were intended to protect the wearer, while at the same time symbolizing strength and fertility.
