Gold wreath with ivy leaves and berries probably from Makedonia and constitutes an excellent example of the goldsmith's art in Hellenistic times. Gold wreathw from olive, myrtle, laurel or ivy leaves have been found in royal tombs mainly in Macedonia but also in Asia Minor and Souther Italy. In Hellenistic times many similar examples consistuded offering to Apollo as can be read in the catalogues of the Treasures of Delos.
