Plate with busts of the Apostles

Replica of a beaten silver plate decorated with busts of the Apostles and Slavonic inscriptions amidst floral motifs on the rim. This decorative style, which combines Orthodox iconography with Renaissance traits, is encountered on a series of plates produced at Brasov, Transylvania (17th c.).
