This relief from the cover of a bronze folding mirror probably depicts the god of wine in ecstasy between two Maenads wearing silver jewellery. However, the wreath held by the male figure could also identify him a Adonis, a god associated with the vegetation cycle, depicted here between Aphrodite and Presephone. Circa 310 BC. Inv. No. 8067
