The Benaki Museum's ‘NEMA’ Passementerie is the only manufactury of passementerie products (ribbons, braids, tassels, fringes et al.) operational in Greece today, using traditional methods. The venue is also hosting educational programmes and exhibitions, constituting a living cell of intangible cultural heritage.
