Reproduction of a terracotta statuette of a rider on a horse, made according to the original ancient technique. The original comes from a Boeotian workshop (600 - 550 BC). The horse, which appeared in Greece circa 2000 BC, was a precious means of transport during the Geometric and Archaic periods, as well as an indication of the owner’s social status.
