Pendant with a coin of Aegina

Silver pendant, replica of a coin from the island of Aegina depicting a turtle on one side and four hollow triangles on the other (6^th century BC). Till the end of the Archaic period and before its submission to Athens, Aegina enjoyed exceptional economic prosperity; indeed, the island minted the earliest Greek coinage.
