Lekythos

Red-figure lekythos from an Attic workshop with the figure of a Siren with a sack in her hair and wearing an earring, in front of an olive or laurel tree. As demonic beings, Sirens were linked to both worlds and as such were available to facilitate passing from one solar stage to another.
