Round vessel, replica of a cycladic bowl (Early Cycladic II: c. 2700 - 2300 BC). The original belongs to a special category of Early Cycladic vessels, many of which bear traces of colour. Most probably they were used for preparing and mixing pigments for cosmetic or decorative use.
