Silver lekythos

Silver replica of a black-glazed squat vessel (lekythos) from Attica (425 - 200 BC) with vertical flutes, used for storing aromatic oil. Black-glazed vessels with this type of decoration and highly glossy black glaze probably imitated metal prototypes.
