Silver-plated replica of a vessel (kantharos) dating to the early 3rd century BC. The original probably constitutes part of the ‘Thessaly Treasure’ together with a group of gold jewellery and coins. The incised decoration surrounding the edge is a constant decorative type in a group of early Hellenistic silver vessels from Macedonia, Thrace and southern Russia, while the kantharos shape refers to the known forms of early Hellenistic pottery.
