Silver replica of a cup from northern Euboea, dating to the Early Bronze Age (around 2800 BC). The original is made of heavy hammered gold sheet with incised linear decoration. The luxury of the material used, points to a ritual function, while the precise workmanship and its balanced proportions rank this bowl among the few preserved masterpieces of Early Helladic metalwork.
