Silver-plated replica of a wine jug (olpe). Τhis type of utilitarian vessels were often given as a dedication in sanctuaries. This particular Benaki Museum exhibit can be dated to the classical period (end of 5th century BC) on the basis of parallels from well-dated find spots.
