Tray - Embroidery

Wooden tray from ‘metoo’s’ “Embroidery” collection. It can be used as a place mat, tray, or as autonomous artwork hung on a wall. The motif is based on the deconstruction and reformulation of elements from the intricate adornment of a 17^th century Cretan dress that depicts nature scenes and creatures, both existing and imaginary.
