Benaki Shop introduces its latest collection "All Fresh" curated by artists Nikomachi Karakostanoglou and Ilias Papailiakis, on the occasion of their exhibition “Nightingale's Tales” at the Benaki Museum of Greek Culture.
Collectible red clay ceramics with colourful glazes, inspired by the Museum’s collections of neo-Hellenic and folk arts, were crafted under the artistic direction of Nikomachi Karakostanoglou and Ilias Papailiakis. The collection was produced by experienced ceramist Elli Sofianopoulou, who brought to life the artists’ vision.
The two artists also jointly developed a selection of designs and forms related to their Benaki Museum exhibition for a limited-edition series of porcelain tableware. Coffee mugs and platters act as white canvases bearing the artists' designs.
The "All Fresh" collection is available at the Kriezotou 3 Window (Ghika Gallery Shop) and at the Shop of the Benaki Museum of Greek Culture.
