#ProjectKUBARAS is a Benaki Museum Shop initiative. Artists and designers decorate Greek traditional piggybanks exclusively for the Benaki Museum with a common aim to support students of Special Education schools through the Museum’s Educational Programmes.

Having a strong wish to further support the production of the aforementioned Educational Programmes we invited partners and friends of the Benaki Museum Shop to receive a traditional clay piggybank and to process, decorate and recreate it with complete freedom.

Everyone responded with great joy and enthusiasm and thus, the team of #ProjectKUBARAS was created, a team whose members selflessly offered their personal time, energy and creativity to support the Museum.

This diverse collection of colorful and multifaceted piggy banks, which were created as part of this collaboration, will be exhibited and put up for sale for four days at the Shop of the Ghika Gallery from Thursday, 29/11, to Monday 3/12.

On Thursday, 29/11, at 19:00, we invite you to the opening of the exhibition at the Ghika Gallery Shop to discover the collection and get to know the #ProjectKUBARAS team with the DJ set of Larry Gus.
