Small dish - Aegina coin

Decorative plate featuring a representation of a turtle in its central part, from a silver coin of Aegina (6th century BC). The earliest Greek coinage was minted in Aegina, as the island enjoyed exceptional economic prosperity until the end of the Archaic period and before its submission to Athens.
