Υφαίνοντας όνειρα. Κιλίμια από το Γεράκι Λακωνίας (Weaving dreams. Kilims from Geraki, Laconia)

The richly illustrated catalogue presents the long weaving tradition of the village of Geraki in Laconia, through essays on the history of the village and the detailed presentation of 108 kilims and tagaria, which come from private and ecclesiastical collections. The research and publication are the fruit of an initiative undertaken by the Geraki Cultural Association together with “Gefyra”, a collaborative program of the University of California, Los Angeles and Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, which is supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
