The third volume of the series Essays by Zisimos Lorentzatos, gathers texts that were published in the period 1997-2002; it is dedicated, as well as the previous ones, to key problems or central figures of modern Greek literature and its absorption. Lorentzatos' incisive gaze delves into the poetic landscape, once focusing on problems of artistic creation per se (Andreas Kalvos, C.P. Cavafy, Nikos Karouzos, Dimitris Hatzis, etc.) and once on issues of critical interpretations and viewpoints.
