The volume is part of the overall edition of Andreas Kalvos's Works. It includes a variety of texts which indicate the poet's scope of activities, mainly related to his first and second residences in London and secondarily to Corfu and the environment of the Ionian Academy: The compilation of an Italian grammar (in the context of the Italian Lessons), the compilation of a grammar and vocabulary of the modern Greek (in the context of Harmonical Grammar), the translations of ecclesiastical texts of the Anglican church (Book of common prayer, Ecclesiae Anglicanae religio, disciplina, ritusque sacri, Papal Supremacy tested by antiquity), as well as the translation of Recherches sur la nature du calcul différentiel.
The published texts, accompanied by documented introductory texts and detailed commentary, highlight a different face of Andreas Kalvos, contributed to a fuller understanding of the intellectual composition, the wider reflections and the poet's long spiritual course.
