Decorative plate featuring a replica of a gold wreath of the 3rd - 2nd centuries BC. Similar gold wreaths from olive, myrtle, laurel or ivy leaves have mainly been found in royal tombs of Macedonia and constitute excellent examples of the goldsmith’s art in Hellenistic times.
